Millennium in Millennium in Moshavim Mini-Site

Millennium Electric Ltd., a leading and innovative company in the solar energy field, has signed an agreement with the Moshavim movement, Israeli's cooperative settlement organization, to establish a daughter company called: "Millennium Moshavim Ltd." to build 15kWp-50kWp solar power stations in
Israel's cooperative settlements. 200 solar power systems during the years 2009-2010.
Within 2 years of activity, Millennium Moshavim expect to install 10MW systems, valued at over $50 million dollars.

Millennium in TheMarker's Mini-Site for Environmental Issues

TheMarker website and the 15th Forum, the umbrella organization of the independent municipalities in
Israel, are cooperating to promote events for signing the agreement to protect the climate and reduce air pollution.
Pursuant to the aforementioned cooperation, TheMarker website has prepared a mini-site which deals with a variety of issues related to the agreement.
A large part of the mini-site focuses on the top 10 quality companies which are connected to these important environmental issues.
Millennium, as a leading and innovative company in the renewable energy field and in the photovoltaic solar energy field in particular, was chosen to be one of the companies included in the website.

Meadowlands seeks Israeli tech cos for solar energy project

New Jersey is setting up a $154 million 20-megawatt solar energy plant for the Meadowlands. The New Jersey Meadowlands Commission (NJMC) is seeking various solar power technologies that might be included in the project. The Commission contacted the Samuel Neaman Institute for Advanced Studies in Science and Technology at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology to locate suitable Israeli technologies. The Neaman Institute chose five Israeli companies: Chromagen Ltd., DiSP Distributed Solar Power Ltd., EDIG Ltd., Millennium Electric TOU Ltd., and SolarPower Ltd.
Millennium Electric will also participate in a Israeli-German solar energy project worth €1 million in the first stage. Israel will invest NIS 1 million in this project to build training and demonstration facilities for solar energy systems.

In late August, Millennium Electric signed an agreement for the construction of a 20-megawatt PVT power plant valued at $150-million, in
South Korea’s Sinan province with a subsidiary of the Korea Group, which is now in the process of building a 17-megawatt photovoltaic power plant where the PVT plant will go up.
